Roof Repair in Mustang, Fixed at the Source
One brown spot on the ceiling or a few torn shingles after a windy night usually points to a small problem, not a whole new roof. We track the leak to where it starts, put the fix and the price on paper, and then do only that work.

Where a Repair Makes Sense
Roofs usually give out one weak point at a time. A pipe boot cracks in the sun, a nail works loose, a strip of flashing lifts away from a wall. Catch those early and the rest of the roof keeps shedding water for years.
Before we touch anything, we get on the roof and trace the problem. Water often enters a few feet uphill from where the stain shows up inside. Once we know the real cause, you get a written quote that lists the work, the materials and the price. If the roof is too far gone for a repair to make sense, we tell you that plainly, and we can talk about roof replacement instead.
What a Roof Repair From Us Includes
- Tracking down the leak
- We follow the water from the attic stain to the spot where it enters, so you pay to fix the cause, not just the place it showed up.
- New shingles where needed
- Missing, cracked or creased shingles come out and new ones go in. We match color and style as closely as we can, and if an exact match isn't available, you hear that before work starts.
- Flashing around openings and joints
- A lot of leaks start where the roof meets something: the base of a chimney, a wall, the edge of a skylight or a plumbing pipe. We reseal or replace the metal there and put new rubber collars on cracked vent pipes.
- Replacing soft decking
- When the plywood under a leak has turned soft, we cut that piece out and fasten in a new sheet. Your quote shows it up front as a possible item with a per-sheet price, so it's never a surprise.
- Ridge caps and vents
- A loose ridge cap or broken vent lets wind push rain inside. We reset or replace them and seal the nail heads.
Signs Your Roof Needs a Repair
Stains on the ceiling
Brown rings or bubbling paint mean water is getting through. It may be small now, but it soaks insulation and drywall every time it rains.
Shingles in the yard
After a strong wind, check the lawn. A few missing tabs leave bare felt open to the next storm.
Granules in the gutters
Piles of sand-like grit in your gutters or at the downspouts mean shingles are wearing thin or took a hit from hail.
Pinholes of light up top
Go up in the attic on a sunny afternoon. Any speck of light coming through the roof boards is a gap rain can find too.
Lifted or curled edges
Shingles that lift in the wind or curl at the corners have lost their seal. They are the next ones to blow off.
What Moves the Cost of a Repair
Every repair is priced on its own, and you see that price in writing before we start. Here's what makes one job cost more than another. If something changes once a section is opened up, we stop and talk to you first.
Size of the damaged area
Replacing a handful of shingles is a short job. A whole slope with wind damage takes more material and more time.
What's under the shingles
Soft decking or rotted fascia adds work. We list these as possible items with a set price, so you know the range before we begin.
Pitch and number of stories
A steep slope or a second-story roof means more harnesses, roof jacks and ladder work, and every task takes longer.
Materials
Standard architectural shingles cost less to match than discontinued styles or specialty products.
Flashing details
A chimney or wall that needs new step flashing and counterflashing is more involved than a pipe boot swap.
How a Repair Job Goes
- 1
You tell us what's going on
Give us a call and describe what you're seeing. We set a time to come look.
- 2
We inspect and take photos
We check the roof and the attic if we can get to it. You see photos of what we found, so you're not taking our word for it.
- 3
You get a written quote
It lists each repair, the materials and the price, plus any item that depends on what we find under the shingles. Nothing gets added later without your OK.
- 4
We do the repair
Most repairs take part of a day. We protect plants and the driveway, work clean, and pick up nails and debris with a magnet before we leave.
- 5
We walk you through it
When we're done, we show you what was fixed with before and after photos and answer any questions.

Roof Repair Questions
Can you match my existing shingles?
Usually close, yes. Shingles fade with sun, so even the same product can look a shade different at first. If your style has been discontinued, we'll tell you before the quote is final and show you the closest option.
Is my roof worth fixing, or is it time to start over?
We look at the roof's age, whether the wear sits in one spot or shows up on every slope, and how solid the decking feels when we walk it. One damaged area on a roof that's otherwise in good shape is a repair. When every side is failing, patching rarely pays, and we'll say so and show you the photos that back it up.
Will my homeowners insurance pay for this?
It depends on the cause. Sudden damage from wind or hail is often covered, while normal wear usually isn't. With central Oklahoma's spring storms, a lot of repairs do start with a claim, and our storm damage repair page covers that process. We can give you photos and a written scope, but your adjuster makes the coverage call.
What if you find more damage once you start?
We stop and show you. You get photos and a written price for the added work, and nothing goes ahead until you say yes.
How long will a repair last?
A good repair on a sound roof lasts as long as the roof around it. A patch on a roof that's worn out everywhere won't buy much time, and we'll tell you if that's the case. A roof inspection every year or two helps catch small problems early.

Got a Leak or Loose Shingles?
Tell us what you're seeing and we'll set a time to look. You'll get the cause, the fix and the price on paper before we start. We work in Mustang, Yukon, Tuttle and the towns around them.
